down here kids to keep entertained or just want an exciting night out
to sit with friends and kick back, we have a lot going on to keep you busy...

Friday ONLY - THE RANCH RODEO - FREE admission
Go back in time to see where today's rodeo originated as local ranchers and farmers come out to compete in skills used today to manage their animals and homesteads. This is the REAL life rodeo event that you won't want to miss. Get up close and personal to the action and the people.
Saturday - 12:45pm - THE RODEO BEGINS
Watch for some special performances in the arena including the Mounted Shooters. Cowboy mounted shooting is a competitive equestrian sport involving the riding of a horse to negotiate a shooting pattern. These riders will duke it out in the mid field through a set course where they must demonstrate their shooting precision, speed and control over their horse! Today we also salute our reigning Lions Rodeo Queen, Emma Blust and say thank you for all you've done, one last time.
Saturday - 1pm - 4pm - THE LIONS KID ZONE
Nestled right next to the North ball diamond on the grassy field (weather permitting), make sure to stop by with the kids and take in all the action of our Lion's Kid Zone. With some fun new games, challenges, face painting and more, we'll help keep the kids entertained and make sure everyone leaves a winner. CHILDREN MUST REMAIN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
SATURDAY
Saturday NIGHT CABARET (Dance) - Doors Open at 7pm, dancing at 8pm
Following the rodeo, DOORS OPEN at 7pm so you can drop in and kick back with your friends for a night out enjoying some boot-stompin' good tunes courtesy of your Cochrane Lions Club
Tickets are $20 per person - ADULTS ONLY please.

Sunday - 10am - COWBOY CHURCH

Pre-parade entertainment starting at 9:00 am. The form up area for participants is at the Burnco Site on River Ave, just south of Griffin Road. The parade weaves through the heart of our downtown core. Visit: Cochrane Tourism website for more information

The best of the best will go head to head to see who takes home the Championship Buckles and the honour of Class Champion from our 55rd Anniversary Lions Club Rodeo. Watch as we crown our new Cochrane Lions Rodeo Queen
